The enchanting modern classic from Disney, Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. This show offers our actors a cast of beloved characters to play and is loaded with magic, adventure, humor, and fun. Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Rehearsals: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00-6:00pm, with additional rehearsals scheduled every day the week of July 14th.

Specifics: The 8-week program cost is $425 ($400 each for 2 or more from the same family) which includes your participation, workshop classes, show costuming, script, audio rehearsal CD, t-shirt, cast party and a DVD of the performance.  Script and Rehearsal CD will be distributed on our first day:  Tuesday, May 28.

Auditions: Everyone who registers will be accepted into Frozen Jr. Roles are assigned based on auditions which take place over the first several days of our meetings. Cast members will sing a portion of a song from the show, be taught a dance combination from the show, and will read from the script. Auditions are very flexible based on the comfort level of each auditioner and their level of experience. For example, if a cast member doesn’t feel comfortable singing alone, he or she can absolutely sing with another cast member regardless of whether or not that cast member has already auditioned. The goal of this process is to see what each cast member’s confidence and comfort level is with the material. We give everyone multiple opportunities to try things so we see each cast member at their best with as little stress or nervousness as possible.
